Avoid Avoid Avoid.

Bad food and the woman owner was very rude and dismissive.

Bruschetta and pasta dishes were unbelievably salty. The pasta dishes we ordered were so salty we couldn't eat more than a mouthful. I refused to pay for them as they were so salty they were inedible. We sent them back having only tried a mouthful each.

We told our waiter who did nothing about it.

I went and complained to the owner who understood me perfectly until she realised I was complaining and then she kept saying she didn't understand english. The waiter came to translate but still she was very rude and called the chef out to talk to me. Once again I had to explain it was too salty to eat but the chef told me I was wrong, and it was meant to be that salty! (It was inedible it was that salty). The chef was rude and did not admit fault.

The owner proceeded to claim she could not understand me, so I went to get my partner who would speak some Italian to help out. The owner told her we must have not eaten in Italy as this is how all pasta tastes (This was our 5th day in Rome, and 15th in Italy, and we'd never tasted anything as bad as this)

I then said fine, let's just leave but I need to leave a bad review. Suddenly the owner understood English again, and took the pasta dishes off the bill, though she was very rude about it.

I would NEVER recommend this place. AVOID...

We ate here twice as it was near our hotel. The first time we had bruschetta, pasta and a pizza. It was good, but nothing exceptional. We went a second time after a long day of touring thinking it was a safe bet but it was extremely disappointing. We ordered the bruschetta, which wasn’t as good as the first time. Then we had two pizzas. My fiancé ordered hers and ate some, but wasn’t pleased. I ordered a 4 cheese and it was the worst pizza I’ve ever had. It was soupy and had bleu cheese which gave it a very tart/sour taste. It was taken back after the waiter noticed I wasn’t eating it. He asked what he could bring and I went with the Margherita pizza. It came out soupy again and had a sour taste. I went inside to pay the bill as we were frustrated and tired. The owner tried explaining that’s how the mozzarella cheese is, but I wasn’t in for a debate. During our dinner, there were also 2 other tables who had parts of their bill deducted due to food...

If you want soup pizza and waiters almost forcing you to write good reviews! This is the place to go. Completely touristic and the staff was rude when we told them the pizza was bad. Not only was the pizza dripping in "water", but the dough was extremely soggy and the sausage looked undercooked. When we brought it to the attention of our server we were told "well, you have to eat it fast". It only gets worse from here! Both servers working decided to argue with my wife about how this is completely normal and she is wrong. Explaining "this is what happens when you use fresh ingredients". After being told this 4 times we asked the waiter to take it away and he decides to bring us out mushroom from the back to explain yet again how we are wrong. I am sorry, but dont argue with the customers if we say its disgusting....Well it probably is disgusting. They would not take it off the bill even though we didnt even cut into it and it was a...

🇮🇹 Must-Eat in Rome! I Couldn't Stop Coming to This Local Restaurant

I recently had the pleasure of indulging in the grill platter, and it was absolutely incredible! Each meat had a unique and distinct flavor that danced between sweet and savory, creating a perfect balance of tastes. The lamb chop was an absolute standout—crispy on the outside, yet juicy and tender on the inside, cooked to perfection. The pork ribs were another highlight, with just the right amount of tarragon flavor that left me wanting more. And the sausage paired beautifully with the risotto, adding a savory richness to the dish. To top off the fantastic meal, Daniela, my server, was prompt, courteous, and attentive throughout the evening. His excellent service made the entire dining experience that much more enjoyable. I will definitely be returning!

It was our last night in Rome. Other restaurants had just closed. We were welcomed with a friendly smile and a perfect table inside facing the entrance. The staff were super nice and spoke good English. My steak was delicious and perfectly cooked and my companion’s pasta was excellent. The olive oil served with the bread was really good. When we paid our bill we asked if we could buy a bottle to take back home. After a quick check with the owner, two new bottles were brought up from the cellar. The price was a drop dead deal and we bought both. You can sit out front in the tent, or inside, whatever your preference if it’s not too busy. We’ll be back.
