The tiramisu was the best I’ve ever had, just 5 euros! Very reasonable cost on everything! The sea bass was simple, yet cooked to perfection and full of flavor, that was the wife’s fav @ 15 euros it’s a steal, we had 2 servings of it. The lobster linguini was delicious. The seafood salad, at the suggestion of my waiter, was an ensemble of samples of 4 types of dishes, was my favorite dish.....it had octopus which I’ve never tried b4 and it was flat out amazing, and a beautiful presentation not a shred of food was left on that plate or any plates for that matter. I wouldn’t recommend any other spot for dinner downtown, the place was packed, and no problem speaking English. The owner greets you at the door and seats you. His wife and dad and family all work there. Such a great treat to come there from the USA and enjoy a TRUE Italian family owned restaurant business with fantastic food, reasonable prices, plus great family made wine was only 6 euros a glass! Bellisimo, delizioso. A true gem, the chef really understands flavor profile and adds acidic elements to fresh seafood to take the flavor beyond your imagination of what seafood is at most any place you’ve ever...

Being British and they German we could only lighten the mood by joking between ourselves it might be Brexit related! Felt incredibly uncomfortable. The food came, my spinach and ricotta ravioli was nice but nothing extra ordinary. My companion ordered Salmon and was informed that it came with no sides and so ordered roast potatoes too. Food was served quickly and after waiting couple of minutes we decided to start and wait on the potatoes. They never arrived. Not until approximately 15 minutes later when we had finished our course and the waiter simply said 'ah too much' and took them away. We immediately asked for the bill. They did come back with complimentary limencello to apologise for the potatoes but unfortunately it just was not what we expected in the slightest. I wish I could have taken pictures of the food for you but felt like my every move was being watched by our table companions. Certainly nothing to...

We ordered the cacio e pepe and inquired about their fish options. The waiter recommended a sea bream with potatoes which was not on the menu. The waiter brought out the fish and potatoes on the tray it was cooked in and carved up the fish right at our table. After carving the fish, the waiter made a great joke of taking away the fish we had been drooling over, making us both laugh! It may look simple, but the flavor was exemplary. The fish was mild, not fishy at all. Paired perfectly with the salty and soft potatoes. The cacio e pepe was bursting with flavor, a lovely contrasting dish. They also brought bread and a lovely spicy crouton to the table. We passed on dessert but they brought out a bowl of simple sugared biscuits anyway. Perfect with the espresso we ordered after we tried them. The wait staff were great fun and the food was the best of the best. Ristorante da Vincenzo sets an...
