Food quality excellent. Food quantity poor: I ordered parmigiana as it was listed on the menù as main course, I got small portion as if it was antipasto. I ordered prosecco: was given double dose that I never asked, and was charged for it. It was very good prosecco. While waiting for parmigiana, I asked if I could have something to put in my mouth with prosecco before the dish comes, was answered in not nice way that they give it only when prosecco is ordered as aperitivo. I am totally fine with it, what I do not appreciate is the atmosphere and treatment: it felt as I was a prisoner and at their orders and I was not supposed to ask that. Simple solution would have been to simply give me the bread that they gave me when they brought parmigiana. Would have been nice way to treat guest and still adhere to their policy of not giving snacks with prosecco unless is aperitivo. No effort was shown to have the guest...

We had the pleasure of dining at Settimo Ristorante on Via Gregorio VII twice during our stay in Rome — and both visits were a highlight of our trip.

The food was excellent, with generous portions that we could barely finish. The pasta and salads were fresh, flavorful, and beautifully prepared, with each plate priced around €15 — fantastic value for the quality.

The staff were warm and welcoming, and spoke very good English, which made the whole experience smooth and enjoyable. Their friendliness and attentive service made us feel right at home.

We loved it so much that we returned the very next evening without even considering going anywhere else.
