We are very disappointed by this restaurant. We got attracted by the 35€ menu displayed at the entrance: antipasti + starter + main course + vegetables + dessert + 1/4 bottle of wine + 1/2 bottle water + coffee
First when we ordered this 35€ menu we told the waiter that we don't drink alcohol and coffee so we kindly asked him if that was possible to replace it by some other soft drink but he said no...first time I see that in a restaurant. When we got served, we were very disappointed by the small quantities of each dish: for main course I ordered the mixture of grilled seafood which still costs 25€ "à la carte", but it contained only 1 very small piece of swordfish with 1/2 of bones, + 1 small piece of squid + 1 prawn + 1 langoustine with hardly nothing inside. Then for vegetables I got a small plate of spinach, it was quite tasty but unfortunately the quantity was too small. The worst is the dessert, I ordered a fruit salad which still costs 8€ à la carte, but the quantity was so small, it was quantity you give to a 5-year kid...Then as said before I paid for wine and for coffee in my menu but I drink none of them and they didn't want to give me something instead. I have to say that the starter dish spaghetti with clams was tasty and as it's just a starter I understand that the quantity is not big.
However, I saw that this restaurant gives bigger quantities when you order à-la-carte dishes and that is not fair for those who order the menu. I was still hungry when I left the restaurant, in Rome that never...

I am so happy we found this place on our first day (second trip) to Rome. Why? Because we will be back! I am not sure if I am still excited because of the wonderful food (and amazing wine!) that this place has to offer.
I was loving the food - we had risotto and a fish dish (both were really good) with a bottle of white wine that I will be sipping on in my dreams. After our excellent lunch, they brought out a homemade limoncello that was fantastic, as well as a bottle of a liqueur made from almonds and cherries - dude! give me a bottle of that and I am an instant alcoholic. Such a wonderful dessert drink. After asking about it, the waiter just dropped a couple bottles off at our table with two small glasses and let us have at it.
Speaking of dessert - their lemon gelatto was to die for - really light and almost creamy. Amazing that we ate it all after being so full. We also tried their limoncello dessert - a light pastry soaked in limoncello - I could eat that every day.
And no, I have not mentioned the service, which is the best I have seen in this country (no exaggeration - the absolute best from many travels to Italy). If you are unhappy with the service you are getting in your restaurants, then you need to come here. Tiny little hole in the wall place with amazing wonders...
Read moreI deleted my previous review so that I can explain more on this one.
They seated us shoulder to shoulder in between two couples. The other couples were clearly not comfortable with this either as they looked at us and the host.
After one minute we decided we would like to leave as we were not comfortable and also there was 0 vegetarian options on the menu. The menu outside was Italian only so we didn't notice until we sat inside with the English one.
I politely stood up and mentioned that we were going to leave due to lack of vegetarian options and apologized for the inconvenience, the host immediately got angry and demanded we pay for sitting down wasting their time and that they would have to set the table again. He then called out another member who physically threatened us and blocked the way to the exit and started looking inside my wallet for money while I opened it. I paid 4 euro so they would back off and we could leave, while other guests watched on in embarrassment.
Do not visit this restaurant or you risk the wrath...
