T. & C. Burger Lab — Restaurant in Rome

Owner and the chef were very nice and welcoming. After being in Italy for two weeks it was time for a burger. ((I refuse to eat McDonald’s and Burger King))

Love the concept of this spot - the menu is simple and to the point. The owner was clearly very proud of his product, and rightfully so. The bread is baked fresh, the fries are hand cut in the shop, and the meat is fresh and not a frozen patty. It’s totally worth the price.

My only thing, and it was only mine, not with whom I was with; I prefer my burgers to only be seasoned with salt and pepper. That’s my problem, not the shops. Another great thing is that they cook to order (R, MR, M, W) The burger was delicious, cooked perfectly, and satisfying.

The fries were equally as delicious. Hand cut fresh in house daily.

After several days of indulging in all the delicious pasta and pizza Rome has to offer, we were craving something a little different—and this small burger shop absolutely delivered. The quality blew us away! The burger was juicy, perfectly seasoned, and cooked to perfection. You could tell they use fresh, high-quality ingredients, and the bun held everything together just right without being too heavy.

The atmosphere was cozy and welcoming, and the staff was friendly and attentive. It’s clear they take pride in what they do. This place might be small, but the flavor is anything but. Honestly, it was one of the best burgers I’ve ever had—even compared to spots back home!

After eating pasta and doughy pizzas for the last 3 days (which was great by the way - I am in Rome after all) my body was craving for something a little more homely.

We saw this burger joint was only 300M from the hotel and gave it a shout. It was perfect! It was an extremely juicy burger cooked exactly how I asked for it (medium rare). Chips were fine. Bottled beer was great but that T&C burger was amazing. Ignore the commentor below who said it was dry and take a visit as it is worth it.
