This place was a lucky find, in the middle of tourist Rome, but slightly off the standard track as well. We stopped for an apèro and decided to stay after a glimpse at the menu. All dishes were fresh made and with fresh produce… the Roman style artichoke simply delicious, oyster mushrooms delicious and cooked perfectly, antipasti platter gorgeous! The girls enjoyed the pasta cacio & pepe, and we enjoyed the fresh pasta with lots of truffle shavings! You won’t be lost for vino here neither, the selection is incredible, not seen such a big book with the most incredible choice of Italian vino before! 4000 bottles in the cellar! Considering the location, what we had and the quality even the price is very good, for Italian standards a little bit pricier but so worth it! And very friendly helpful staff too! 5...

A Hidden Gem!

Recommended by our concierge, our family of 8 often struggles to find a table but on a Friday night near the heart of Rome we found a treasure tucked away just around a crowded square. Everything from the Salmon to the Duck was excellent not to mention their wine selection (and I’m not a duck guy). We all thought the chocolate biscotti dessert was truly unique and is a must to try. The inside seating was arguably more beautiful than siting outdoors (not usually the case on the streets of Rome). Being from the U.S. I can say I had a true Italian dining experience that felt a little more like home and no other restaurant that we’ve been to yet has been able to strike that...

In spite of the good food, our waitress wasn't nice at all. I wondered what made her act so angry with us. I've never been treated that bad in all my life before. Was it because we were tourists? But we are very polite and gentle people. I was overruled by her behaviour. I actually wanted to stand up and leave, but we had ordered already... The last drop was when my daughter was still eating and the waitress asked: 'Finished!?' When her colleague asked if everything was all right, we only could say yes because we wanted to leave as soon as possible. It's a pity for the chef and all of their colleagues...but I would never recommend this...

What a great restaurant if your not into touristy ambiance. Our local Hotel Front Desk Agent told us about this spot. It’s off the beaten path and it’s not out by the piazza. I had the Parppadelle with lamb and my wife had the Tonnarelli. The Parppadelle dish was delicious with nice flavors of the lamb and my wife’s dish of the Tonnarelli was simple but a wonderful exhibit of what Roman flavors should be. I would highly recommend the Tiramisu to end camp your night with an espresso. Mangia!

Delicious lunch in this lovely, albeit expensive little place. The zucchini flower pasta with anchovies and crumble, which I had as a primi, was possibly the best pasta I’ve ever had. As a second course, we had the roast beef and glazed strawberries with salad, as well as the filet. The staff is very friendly and sweet, the location is great and the coffee was wonderful. My only issue were the high prices, but that’s tourist Rome at its best.
