I recently had the pleasure of dining at caffè Teichner and I must say that the experience was elevated significantly thanks to our waiter, Martin. From the moment we were seated, Martin's warm and welcoming demeanor made us feel right at home.
His knowledge of the menu was impressive; he provided insightful recommendations that perfectly matched our tastes. Martin took the time to explain the specials of the day and even shared some interesting stories about the origins of certain dishes, which added a personal touch to our meal.
Throughout the evening, Martin was attentive without being intrusive. He checked in on us at just the right moments, ensuring our glasses were never empty and that we had everything we needed. His timing was impeccable, and he handled our requests with a smile, making us feel like valued guests.
The food itself was fantastic, but Martin's exceptional service truly made the evening memorable. He went above and beyond to ensure we had a wonderful dining experience, and his passion for the restaurant and its offerings was evident.
If you find yourself at caffe Teichner,I highly recommend asking for Martin. His professionalism, friendliness, and dedication to customer satisfaction are truly commendable. Thank you, Martin, for a delightful evening!

Read moreWe went here for apperitivo. Normally in Italy you get snacks(chips, olives, nuts) when you order an “apperitivo-qualifying” drink during happy hour(some places offer this all day. Some places used to even offer charcuterie boards or mini sandwiches for free when you buy a drink but this has changed since Covid. Anyway, we asked what we can get for a €4 apperitivo as stated on the menu, and the waitress said aperol spritz, other spritzes, Fanta, colas, etc. so we got 1 aperol and 1 Fanta and nothing came with it. We then ordered a cake and a sandwich and they only brought the cake. I asked for my sandwich a couple more times and they never brought it. We then saw most other tables were getting chips and olives with their drinks so we asked for that. They brought it. Then the bill charged us €10.50 for the aperol and €5 for the fanta(we understood both would be €4), charged us for the cake (not the sandwich-thankfully), and charged for the chips and olives!!! So we asked what was the apperitivo deal anyway?? And they were very rude about it and said you get sandwiches for €4 euro and that’s all. Fine, but I asked for sandwiches at least 4 times and...
Read morehad the pleasure of visiting Teichner Coffee in Rome and was absolutely blown away by the outstanding service and warm hospitality I received. I ordered a Maritozzo and a special coffee, both of which were exceptional in flavor and presentation.
What truly made the experience unforgettable were the three incredible staff members: Marco, Stefano, and Eisar. Each of them was incredibly kind, professional, and attentive. Their friendliness and passion for their work created a welcoming and uplifting atmosphere that made me feel right at home.
Marco’s cheerful demeanor, Stefano’s attention to detail, and Eisar’s genuine kindness made this one of the best customer service experiences I’ve ever had in Italy — or anywhere else.
If you’re in Rome and want not only a delicious treat but also a beautiful moment of connection and warmth, I strongly recommend coming to Teichner Coffee. You’ll leave with a smile on your face and a memory...
