I stayed at The RomeHello hostel this place is ajoined to and I loved going to this Bar & Grill. There was live music on the weekends by a gentleman that worked at the hostel who just so happened to be a famous Portuguese artist. It was amazing sitting at the bar with our Bartender, Marco (who is very attentive and gives amazing service[thank you for all the red berries] and makes you feel at home a world away), and listening to all the different songs from traditional Portuguese songs to Italian ballots all the way to Johnny Chash, Elvis Presley and The Beatles. Everyone knew all the songs and this made my heart so happy to see everyone from at least six different cultures laughing and singing together as Nevilton(hope to see you at South By Southwest this year!) did an amazing job as a one man band. The breakfast buffet was wonderful and an amazing break from Tapas and pastries we had been living off of for almost two weeks. The cocktails and the food was also incredibly delicious and very fitting for the shotgun style pub. The sous chef of the restaurant also did a Carabonara cooking class and even gave us the historical story of how the dish was developed in the country. If I didn't already love the hostel I would have gone here any way. All around great place to be for starting your morning, winding up your evening or just getting the nightlife of...
Read moreI recently had the pleasure of discovering a charming small restaurant tucked inside a hostel in Rome. The restaurant offers a self-service breakfast with a wide range of options that truly cater to every palate.
From delicious sweets to a variety of food;cheeses, fresh vegetables and etc. there's something for everyone. What really stood out was the selection of breads, especially the homemade focaccia—an absolute must-try! If you're a coffee lover, you're in luck—they offer all types of coffee, along with teas and an assortment of cold drinks, including multivitamin, orange, and apple juice.
Not only is the food outstanding, but the warm and welcoming atmosphere truly sets this place apart. The staff is incredibly friendly, especially Veronica, who made me feel right at home with her kind and helpful attitude. It’s the kind of place where you’re greeted with a smile, making the experience even more enjoyable.
Whether you're staying at the hostel or just passing through, this is the perfect spot to start your day in Rome. For anyone looking for a hearty, varied breakfast served with a personal touch, this place is a hidden gem that...
Read moreThis place is absolutely amazing and a true hidden gem! Unfortunately I did not get any pictures of our amazing meal but this should be a must on your visit to Roma! Our first night we stayed at the RomeHello and Timoty’s offers a discount on their breakfast buffet for guests at the hostel. We absolutely loved the breakfast and went back even after leaving RomeHello. My fiancé is vegan and we saw on their dinner menu they had many vegan options. For our last night we finally came back for dinner, which was beyond memorable. We had the onion rings and the meat and cheese board which they graciously offered to make a half portion for me. For our mains my fiancé had the carrot and fennel soup and the vegan meatballs; and I had their Cacio e Pepe. The carrot fennel soup smelt so delicious I had to steal a bite, this was the true star of the show! Everything was just absolutely incredible including their Aperol Spritz. Everyone who works here is just so nice and you can tell they really care for the food they create and their customers. Look forward to returning the next...
