Caffè Piccarozzi — Restaurant in Rome

Absolutely Disgusting Service! After checking into our hotel, we decided to eat our first meal in Rome here.

We asked for a vegetarian pasta, the food arrived and it was dry and bland. When we ask the waiter for some alternatives he started to shout and scream at me and my wife in front of other diners!

He told us that that’s the food you have ordered (it was, but it was terrible) We asked for fries too which never came.

He even shouted “yous shouldn’t go out to eat! Stay home and eat your own food”

We were in shock and disbelief the way he treated us, we refuse to finish our meal and take any more insults.

We paid for the food in FULL, without waiting for our change and left the restaurant. We couldn’t believe what had just happened Other diners were in shock too.

We have never experienced anything like this ANYWHERE in the world

We understand not every dish will be perfect for every costumer BUT there is no reason for an establishment to treat their customers (Or anyone for that matter) this badly .

Would NOT Recommend this place...

Can I give a zero for ignoring me sitting there for 10 min while serving everyone else. These discriminatory behaviors are of the past and unacceptable. 2 waiters a female in her 40 s and man in his late 40s early 50s both could t bring water or care to ask for my order though I was handed the menu and ask sit anywhere- on my watch 4 other tables (1p+4p+2p+5p) including a single young white male came and sat, ordered and got served even 2 tables paid and left. Overall disappointment and ruined my morning 5th day in Rome- while I was staying directly at the Anantara Naiadi Hotel adjacent to it. This review is a fair warning a feedback to the establishment as again whatever the reason I was ghosted must be accessed by them (the owners, managers) and fixed immediately. As for anyone who decides to think, all of this was in my head, I wish you but happiness in your life and not to ever have to feel how I felt let alone judge me when you have no clue who I am, what I’ve been...

I wish I had read the reviews before I ordered breakfast. Unfriendly and unprofessional personnel, too expensive, and get insulted by the owner.

I visited this place 2 weeks ago and had a small breakfast outside. The staff was very unfriendly and unprofessional. They dropped the drinks over the table – this can happen of course - the waiter apologized but did not clean-up! The waiter was nowhere to be found.

At the end was shocked by the price I had to pay. I did not remember seeing this on the menu, but I was in a hurry and had no time to check. It might be an A1 location, but in my experience no other restaurant in Roma would charge you this much.

And finally I will get insulted by the owner, as he always does when he received a bad review. Very unprofessional. I wish I had read the reviews first, before I entered...
