Please don't ignore this 5 star review. We encountered this place on the first night of our long weekend in Rome. Everyday we came back in some way. The food, especially pizza and pasta was just incredible. The wine, had both Rose and Red, again right up there with some of the best places I have been in my time. We found the prices very reasonable however but given the quality of the food and drink I would say that the prices were exceptional. And now to why I would class the best that this place offers, the service. Unfortunately I never got the name of the person who was on during the day this is a real shame as they do highly deserve being mentioned and I fell I am letting them down by not doing so. Read moreI wanted to give it a chance despite reading several bad reviews. Honestly, it's not too bad. The food was decent, and the portions were appropriate. There's a good balance between quality, quantity, and price. I'm not sure if there's a minimum spend requirement, but we didn't receive the complimentary limoncello shot like other tables did. On the bright side, their drinks are competitively priced and even cheaper for takeaway orders. (Check out the photos I've added). This is a constructive review, aiming to improve all the flaggeg issues. Here's a corrected version of your sentence:

Since there were only five croissants left, I specifically asked (my wife in English and I in Italian, as I am fluent) for them to be brought to our table, and we waited there. The waiter told me to sit down and not to worry.
After a few minutes, he came to the table with only three croissants and the rest of the order, saying we were waiting for the other two. When I asked where the others were, he said he had sold them. This is unacceptable — you should tell the customer beforehand, so they can decide whether to stay or go elsewhere, not after part of the order has already been consumed, effectively forcing payment.
The worst bar service I have...
