Antica Trattoria L'Aquila — Restaurant in Siena

I like il palio pictures on the walls and the videos running on tv. The staff were courteous. We had a pizza, a pasta and lasagna. Everyone was relatively happy with their food. I tried the pizza and it was good. I had the pici with spinach, tomato and cheese and at best it was mediocre. I found the tomatoes and the spinach lacking any taste. Taking one star...

I bought a leather jacket and a belt today. I am really with both purchases. We haggled,... quite a bit. Negotiating like this, when done properly, makes you feel that you got much more than what you bought. You got your purchases but also made savings. You never really know how we'll you did though. You just know how much less than the original listed...

Sorry, but this restaurant is a real turnoff. The umbrellas were dirty, everywhere were flies, flying in our food and wine and the Gnocchi with Bolognese were really disappointing. The bruschetta was just hard oily bread with tasteless tomatoes for 6,50€ Only positive point was a attentive servant. Even though we felt a little bit observed...
