15 minutes waiting with no service being ignored as being transparent (sitting at a free table outside with no reserved sign with a staff member seeing me many times and preferring not to welcome me or even say you “cannot sit there” for whatever misterious reason, it is absolutely normal to sit at a free table outside in a restaurant as it is absolutely normal to be said by the waiter you cannot sit there,as you own it, what I find rude is being ignored, anyway by the sarcastic answers to any other complain through rhe reviews to this place I can see that the owners cannot take feedback and instead of apologising and try to make things better, they sarcastically have fun of the customers, which are actually the reason your business earns money and should be always respected as one of the most basic things when you work in food and hospitality, and here we are just talking a very basic case of telling a customer you cannot sit here, your customer may have had a long day and when they sit at your reastaurant just expect a respectful and friendly welcome, being ignored for having dared to sit at a free table without first asking you is something unprecedented for me - good luck to your business and I hope you learn...
Read moreIt was just me having dinner on Sunday night. The waiters were incredibly nice. I was seated outside after a short wait. No one ever came by to take my order. I asked one girl after a long wait and she smiled and said OK and then no one came. I asked another girl and she said OK and took my order. I ordered a second glass of wine because I had one inside waiting for the table to be ready, and I ordered it and antipasti and a pasta. She returns with the wrong wine … it was a Prosecco, and the first was a still wine. When I mentioned it to her, she told me she asked to people and then we could remember what the first one I had was because the one I ordered was out and someone recommended one as a substitute . Then my pasta came, and when I asked where my antipasti was, she said “I didn’t hear you say anything about an antipasti” I decided this wasn’t going in a good direction. When I finished my pasta, I asked someone for the check and they smiled at me nicely, and said yes. I understand that most restaurants have the check inside in Italy, but no one said that in this particular situation, so I went inside and paid the bill. The gnocchi were exceptionally good. The...
Read moreUPDATE: In addition to what I wrote here below, that same evening (a Monday evening) we got held up with a work call and only managed to get out of our accommodation at around 21:30. We tried to find a place for a nice dinner, but everyone turned us away, even if their websites said they closed after 22:30.
Although we were keen to try something different, we decided to take a chance on this place once more, even if they closed at 22:00. After all, we had had a great lunch! We got there 4min before the kitchen closed. They not only accepted us, but also made the WHOLE menu available, and in no way tried to hurry us into eating. So yeah - exceptional service and great food.
So for those of you complaining incessantly...a little politeness goes a VERY long way.

This is an osteria not a restaurant. Expect informality - and it's great! The service was excellent. The food was great. The pasta was good, the beef tartare exceptional, and the dessert delicate.
In più - complimenti a chi risponde alle recensioni. Piccoli...
