dal Compa' — Restaurant in Sorrento

Discovered this UNFORGETTABLE fast casual restaurant while on holiday in Sorrento and had to go back 2x in the 5 days my husband and I were there ‼️😍 If that doesn’t tell you how good it is, I don’t know what will 👀

While walking back to our hotel from being out and about for the day, we passed a restaurant called Beersteak that looked pretty good. We thought it’d be a nice night for quick eats before heading out for cocktails later on, and after looking at their menu, we decided we’d return for those quick eats. Well…(sorry Beersteak 🫠)…when we headed back down the road the restaurant next door (dal Compa') was POPPING OFF 👏 The indoor and outdoor seating was nearly full, there were a few people in line ahead of us, and the bright color scheme and neon lighting just called us in 🫶

We were pleasantly surprised at the affordable cost when ordering from the easy to use touch screen system ☺️ I mean, the sandwiches, sides, and sauces all looked like DELUXE options from the menu photos, but the price wasn’t outrageous - basically it gave big bang for your buck - and from the first bite we knew we had experienced something special 🥹

My husband ordered one of the seasonal burgers and I ordered the natural chicken nuggets. Of course we got a side of curly fries with the special sauce as well 😋 AMAZING SO AMAZING 🤩 The burger had walnuts and just omg the Italian infusion of flavors were there and it was unlike anything we’d ever tasted in the best way 🤯 The nuggets I was like okay nuggets made with fresh chicken of course it’d be good but I did NOT expect them to be so crispy, fresh, and filled with ingredients like pesto!!!! PESTO???? In a fresh what seemed like hand-breaded chicken nugget???? 😭😭😭 the fries and sauce - impeccable. All the food seemed to be made fresh to order and we did not wait long at all 💥 they do serve a wide range of drinks plus beer and wine for those who want to partake while there!

Also - we did order takeout because we thought we’d kind of eat and walk or hit a bench somewhere but this is not a meal to eat quickly and nonchalantly. This food is to be SAVORED. We sat down and enjoyed, but we did notice that the takeout packaging was the NICEST PACKAGING - so high quality. I mean this restaurant really cares about the final product and it shows ✨✨

OVERALL 10/10 - we went back again for late eats a couple of nights later and of course it was just as good the second time around. Honestly, I’d say this is a CAN’T miss while...

This was a real treat, long day and needed something quick-ish to eat. Really good food, value good as well and the portions great. I had the crispy gringo burger and loved it, meat was juicy and full of flavour. The large chips or curly fries are huge, I think with the size of the burgers would suit 3 people or two who are hungry. We had 4 boxes and the picture shows what was left (3 kids and 3 adults. Kids also had chicken nuggets which they did not like, but the reason being is they were proper chicken (not processed) but tasted like roasted chicken. I liked them, the portion was also large. Me and my girlfriend was thinking to go to a Michelin star restaurant but then it started raining. So we just decided to go to this place, get a burger and go back to the apartment to watch Netflix.
