This place was “I’ll be back tomorrow” good. We had a local guide today on the Amalfi Coast and she recommended it for dinner. We walked past a few times this week and it was pretty unassuming but we sat down and noticed immediately the number of locals at other tables. Great wine selection and a really good strawberry spritz. Homemade bread in a bag to start. The gnocchi was great but the lasagna…game changer. After a week in Italy and trying food from at least a dozen restaurants across 5 cities this was hands down best we have had. The cheesecake dessert was top notch and the gelato was really good. Plus they had a special of drink (soft drink, beer, or wine), an entree, and dessert for 19€. Maybe 12 tables all outdoors under an awning with great ambiance. Just a few blocks from the crowds downtown so was relatively chill but still with people about. Truly a great experience. Feel like I should go high five everyone in the kitchen...

Food was cheap and such big portion size for that price!!

Pancake stack was also of a good portion size too. Asked for the one with fruit and this one actually had alternating layers of fruit and pancakes. Really nice.

So I asked for an omelette and they actually delivered exceptionally well! Quite a large fluffy omelette and they put ham inside! Absolutely beautiful meal.
Even as for a side of ham because I wanted some extra protein to a salad I had got on my own. They actually gave me a plate full of ham! What...

We ordered a cheese pocket, French fries, a freddo cappuccino, and an iced café latte (the exact names may differ slightly on the menu). The taste was average—nothing particularly special.
The billing experience was disappointing. We were first charged €32, then it was corrected to €26, and after recalculating ourselves, we ended up paying the correct amount: €24. Having to review the bill twice really affected the overall experience.
While the place has a lively vibe and a central location, the service and transparency could use...
