Pros: The walk down to the washroom is quite nice. Also the atmosphere of the seating in the small street is pleasant. The Ravioli was delicious. Cons: The rest of the food we chose was terrible. The price does not represent the quality of the culinary experience.

We tried the octopus antipasto, which was very confusing. It was like octopus that had been smashed into a large sausage and sliced like salami? We thought the portion was generous, to discover that the few slices of octopus were sitting on a hidden pile of lettuce… The mixed seafood pasta was not mixed seafood, only half a dozen mussels on thick doughy pasta with one cherry tomato all tossed only in olive oil. When I think of the southern coast of Italy I think of beautiful sceneries and perfectly cooked pasta, seafood and tiramisu. I walked in Sorrento through a charming alleyway these past couple of weeks to find this restaurant, Le Grazie. The stone wall, cobblestone path and a mouth watering ravioli plate attracted me. The food was phenomenal and kept me going back. The raviolis were divine but it was the black truffle spaghetti that became my favorite, I daydream about it at home now. Add to that a whole family, generations of them, taking care of their customers like if you were at their home, making us laugh and truly allowing us to enjoy the Italian spirit. When you are lost in the little alleyways of sorrento city center, you will find in the shade, sheltered from the scorching sun the outside sitting tables of Le Grazie are a refreshing find. All the food looks brilliant, but if you want that italian pizza, then you found THE PLACE! The staff is beyond friendly and they will cater to your every wish, the service fast and the pizza is AMAZING!
