If you’re visiting Siracusa and looking for an unforgettable dining experience, look no further than Pascedduovo. Tucked away in the heart of the city, this gem of a restaurant offers a perfect blend of traditional Sicilian flavors and modern culinary finesse.
From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed with warmth and genuine hospitality. The setting is elegant yet relaxed, with a cozy Mediterranean vibe that immediately makes you feel at home.
Now to the highlight of the evening — the scampi and pasta dish. Simply outstanding. The pasta was fresh and homemade, cooked to perfection with just the right bite. The scampi were tender, juicy, and bursting with flavor, nestled in a silky sauce that was rich but beautifully balanced. It was the kind of dish that stops you mid-conversation — you just want to close your eyes and savor every bite. Truly one of the best seafood pastas I’ve ever had.
Pascedduovo is more than just a meal — it’s an experience. The staff are clearly passionate about what they do, and every detail, from the presentation to the pacing of the courses, is handled with care and precision. If you’re in Siracusa and want to taste authentic Sicily with a refined touch, Pascedduovo is a must.

Read moreThis is the definition of a tourist trap. Not friendly, bad food and expensive for what they give you!!!! They gave us a table next to the trash can, After long waiting they finally gave us the menu. We ordered the sharing first platter. Everything they promised us on the menu wasn’t there. No anchovies, no olives, no bacon, no cheese ….every time we wanted to order something or ask something, they got annoyed and became even more unfriendly. We saw that the cheese was missing and told the staff. They got frustrated and brought us a platter of cheese. Without excusing themselves. When we told them there was also no anchovies, they started making excuses and started to gossip in Italien! The cheese tasted like plastic and the meat tasted sour. Really not recommend this place, you can eat better and more local for a muuuuch...
Read morePesceduovo is just off of Piazza Duomo in Siracusa. A small nicely designed place with a little shop for random gifts or things for your home. The restaurant was fairly empty when I was there for Christmas, which concerned me a little bit, but the menu is filled with creative gems. We had pasta with sea urchin and basil chlorophyll, which was delicious (if you like and are brave enough for sea urchin), the fritura di paranza (a smattering of fresh seafood treats—sardines, squid etc), which was very lightly friend and delicious, the white fish with chestnut cream and mandarin reduction(super), and one of the best cannolis for desssert I’ve ever had—with the most super creamy ricotta filling you’ve ever tasted. I would go back every day just for that....
