This review is way overdue but never too late….. I was on holiday in Torino at the end in July with my family and one day we stopped at this lovely-looking cafeteria/restaurante for lunch. Well, well, the food was nearly icy cold - it was not reheated long enough - not to mention the super small portion size. We kind of ate the food as we were really hungry but had to make a comment to the lovely waitress who could not believe what I was saying and later offered us complimentary sweets for our very poor experience. Would I recommend this 19th century cafe for food…....

Great café with a nice list of aperitif selections. The vermut tasting allows you to try 3 vermouths from a relatively extensive list. The service was very friendly, and the table service comes with a small selection of appetizers. The space is baroque and elegant, and a very nice spot for meeting friends for coffee or a drink. It is a bit on the pricey side, but worth it for the beautiful atmosphere. We did have a lot of fruit flies to contend with, which is no fault of the restaurant, but somewhat annoying when trying to enjoy sweets...
