The food was disappointing. I ordered the “vegan steak“ which was just a bunch of tomatoes. They were pretty tasty, but not worth the price. I told the waiter that the wording on the menu is confusing and he apologised. However, I don’t think they will change it so be aware. The crust of the bread was very hard to chew as well.

The seats were narrow and close to each other. The other table was right behind us and we had to hear their whole conversation. They were not amazed by the food either.

I can start with positive side - pasta and soup were tasty and the cook was nice. Now for the other part... When we came in, we had to wait so long to be served that I came to the bar to make sure we should tell our order to the waitress or at the bar. When the waitress finally came, she didn't even respond to "thank you"s and such. After that we had to wait a lot for our food. As I said it was good, but the portion of pasta was small and both dishes were expensive compared to their quality...

We ordered one Ribbollita which was ok, a couple of slices of pizza which were not great and a portion of Pici con ragù di cinghiale which was terrible. Unfortunately the tomato sauce of the pasta dish was too tangy and possibly not fresh. We realised after we were already seated and had already ordered our food that this is not the best place to eat in Montepulciano (by a long shot).
