As many reviews have said, the owner/waiter was very disrespectful and rude. This is by far the worst service I have ever experienced in a coffee shop. It ruined my day in Venice.
I ordered a small strawberry smoothie for 2.50 euros. It was blood red and tasted very sweet, with lots of coloring and sweeteners, and no strawberry flavor at all.
The service was also very bad. Because I brought food from other restaurants to eat at his table, I was told that I could not sit at his seat to eat other food. I understood this, so I asked him if I could order some of his food. He ignored me and had a very bad attitude, not allowing any food other than his to appear in his store. Even the water I brought with me was not allowed. My friend's request to use the toilet was ignored.
I don't know how this kind of coffee shop can continue to operate. Treating customers with such an attitude. I really hope that this kind of service will disappear soon so as not to affect other people's...

I ordered a regular iced coffee without sugar or cream. The menu listed a regular coffee at âŹ2.5, but I was charged âŹ5.5. When I politely questioned the pricing, the owner claimed that âŹ2.5 was for hot coffee, and that my order counted as a âcoffee shakeâ because it was iced. Even then, the listed price for a coffee shake was âŹ4.5, not âŹ5.5. He then said the extra charge was because I would be sitting in the shop. I explained that I intended to take it to go, and you didnât asked me, then he adjusted the price to âŹ4.5.
I reiterated that I am ok to pay âŹ4.5 but I only wanted a plain iced coffeeânot a coffee shake with cream. However, he still gave me a shake with cream. When I told him it wasnât what I ordered, he suddenly became extremely angry, physically pushed me toward the door, and shouted loudly ââŠ.â in front of...
Read moreIn September 2023, I visited Venice with three friends. Just a few hours before our flight home, we stopped at a café where we met Mike. This encounter turned out to be the cherry on top of our trip. Mike is a thoughtful, open-hearted person with whom we had the pleasure of exchanging ideas about both Italian and French culture. We spoke about the things that set us apart, but even more about what brings us together.
Our conversation was filled with humor and ended with a touching gesture from Mike, who gifted each of us a beautiful Murano glass. Three years later, that glass still sits proudly in my living room as a decoration, and it continues to remind me of that unforgettable moment in Murano.
Thank you...
