Bar Tiziano — Restaurant in Venice

Avoid it, they make segregation between Italian speaking guests and others!!!! The food was really good. We know it, since we are visiting this Restaurant for more than 10 years, but the service today, with the new young man was extremely rude. I am traveling 40 years around the world, in Venice I am 2-3 times pro year, but no one did say to us after 10 mins eating that we must go from the table, even we didn’t finish our Prosecco, because other guests are waiting for the table…?!?? This has been told to (2 persons), but not to the 2 tables left and right from us, that was finished with the eating and drinking longer before we come, and have nice time chatting. Why - they ware Italian speakers and we are German or English. So bad, so unpolite… I have told to the waiter that we are visiting this place for years and that we are never occupying the table more than 15 mins…At the end we did go from the table, then pay and go out, but other tables not!!! Really awfull, avoid it. Even in McDonalds you will not experience...

After dinner, my husband and I were looking for a place to get either a glass of wine or a dessert. We found Bar Tiziano and it’s a great place to sit and have a wine, beer, dessert or grilled panini sandwiches. It’s a family type atmosphere. They’re playing jazz music, which I like. They give you a free basket of homemade potato chips to have with your drink. Dogs are welcome here on a leash. There’s single people and couples and groups of people sitting around drinking wine and having desserts and they have a selection of desserts and sandwiches and other appetizers available. We got this place as a recommendation of a local in one of the shops in Venice. They do fresh sandwiches and hot ones. Coffee is fabulous! The brand is Lavazza, which is my favourite Italian coffee. They also do pizza and they seem to have a salad bar for lunch with meats of choice. They also do freshly squeezed orange juice, but you will have to ask for ice if you want it colder. There are also beers and wine at the place. It can get quite busy at times and getting a table or attention of the personnel to place your order can be tricky, but...
