Really is quick and basic pasta. Most reviews on here are possibly bought online and paid for, including TripAdvisor. This is NOT a top spot to go to. That being said, if you want something cheap, quick, and you can eat while you walk, this is the place. There is a business right beside it with a similar name, Don't be confused. Look at my pictures. Don't go out your way unless your on a budget or drinking and need a quick fix.
Editing (Because owner responded): "Such so many energies spent to show you made some pictures of our place from the door without getting inside..." - If you look at all my pictures, I took them from both inside and outside. Lol.
"Most curious is the fact that you did not take any picture of what you ordered." - It was wrapped in a to go box which was small at best, and I had to spend time outside to close it. I'm not taking a picture of the food when I get home at my table eating it. Was heavy yes, but wasn't that tasty. Noodles were hard, tough and not that tasty. That's just my humble opinion.
"No word spent to explain that we produce everything from scratch (pasta and sauces)..." - I did not see you produce anything from scratch. Matter of fact, you made my order in two minutes. There was one person working the counter, and one young person patching up meals. I doubt you fix anything from "scratch". Unless you consider ordering everything then mixing it to be "scratch".
"Big efforts to stress you think we buy reviews..." - I don't know you personally or your busniess, but for it to be that highly ranked and so bland flavor, you can buy reviews online for companies (TripAdvisor, Google etc.)
"Wow... All a little bit strange and suspicious but we are all so different in this world..." - Yes we are. That's why when I come across something that isn't 5 star I review that I don't think it...
Read moreHad the cacio e pepe and was sadly disappointed... The handmade pasta itself was good but something about the sauce felt off. Having tried pecorino, the sauce tasted very strong but in the wrong ways. This is all my personal opinion and other people may not mind this at all. Also tried the Ai formaggi and that was better than the cacio e pepe. The service was amazing though. Workers are very kind and friendly and try very hard to get your order out as fast as possible despite how busy it gets. EDIT: (Following the reply of the owner)
There seems to be a misunderstanding. The owner replied stating that they think my issue with the cacio e pepe is with the strong taste. It is not. I am familiar with Italian cuisine and understand that pecorino is a strong cheese as I have tried it many times before. My issue was that the Cacio e pepe had a strong taste in the WRONG WAYS. There was something off about it that tasted unpleasant.
I am well aware that someone's preference in food does not mean the food is bad. For example, I tried my girlfriend's Ai formaggi and I didn't like it but I did not have anything bad to say about it. Because it was in fact actually pretty good. I didn't like it because it just didn't suit my taste. So establishing the fact that I DO know the difference between personal preference/taste in food vs bad food, my original review stands.
I hope that in the future, your replies will reflect genuine understanding in a reviewers criticisms instead of assuming they know nothing about Italian cuisine and food taste in general. It's okay if one person doesn't think 1 dish is not perfect. If everyone likes it don't change...

Went on a saturday, was skeptical about queueing up for the long line in the rain outside the shop but luckily the line moved fairly quickly as people order, grab tickets and wait outside the shop.
Went for a carbonara and a seafood pasta, which come in a default pasta, unlike other 'fast-food' pasta place that allows customers to choose between pasta shapes. The carbonara is one of the worst that i've ever had and not just in italy, the guanciale (or whatever deli meat they used) was a poor selection and poorly seared, chewy and barely taste of anything, no meaty taste, no aroma from the fat. Both the pastas we had were cooked differently, the carbonara was overcooked, being soggy and unpleasant, while the other pasta being undercooked, tomato sauce being quite bland, and nothing remarkable about the seafood as well.
As a fastfood pasta shop that multiple influencers glaze, this is extremely disappointing, turning many corners to find a shop located in a small alleyway, you would expect a hidden gem that contrasts its food quality with its obscure location, but this experience speaks otherwise.
The price places itself higher than any other shops of the same operating model, but fail to maintain a consistent quality.
Cannot say anything about the vibe, have to find somewhere else in the city to sit down and eat, or stand in the way where more people are constantly coming in because of its undeserved fame.
An experience equivalent to getting a cold big mac...
