I saw this place in a YouTube video, and I resolved to visit during my short stay in Venice. I liked this place so much that I ate there three times in a day. There is no seating, as everything would be made to go, but we found a small table beside the joint that we could take refuge and eat in peace.

First I tried the mixed bag containing sardines, small fish, shrimps and calamari, so that I could have a little bit of everything. Out of the four, I found calamari and shrimps best, with the small fish a close second, so in the next visits I ordered those exclusively. The calamari and shrimps were lightly dusted with flour and fried. There is no complex seasoning, just lightly salted, though you could add salt, white pepper, and lemon if you'd like.

If you decide to stay in Cannaregio in your time in Venice, you'd be lucky to live near this joint. Even if you don't, if you want simple fried seafood that is uncomplicated, it's still worth making the...

Found this place on Google Maps since my gf was craving some fried fish on the go. The service was good enough but I can’t say the same about the food.

The calamari and the fries were alright but tempura shrimp was definitely a mistake. Its basically frozen shrimp covered in beer batter and definitely not how it looks on the menu pics.

Moreover, the person behind the counter only gave us a packet of ketchup for sauce, and definitely no fresh lemon slices which is what we’re used to seeing when it comes to fried fish in a cone in Italy.

Long story short, try the potatoes and the calamari if you’re famished but otherwise look for...

So I researched food to try in Venezia and fritto misto is one of them. Further search shows that Frito Inn is an excellent place to get fritto misto.

I went early, about 15 minutes after they opened so there was no line. I ordered the fritto misto di pesce, which is the mixed fried fish with calamari, shrimp, and small fish. Everything is cooked fresh to order but fairly quickly. It all was hot and crispy, seasoned perfectly and not at all greasy. I paired it with some hot sauce and mayo.

The portions were a good size and the prices were fair. I would recommend Frito-Inn to anyone visiting Venice for...

Stopped here for a quick snack cause I’m a seafood lover and I was not disappointed. I ordered the mixed platter that came with small fish, sardine, calamari and shrimp all freshly fried and seasoned perfectly. The only thing I’d change is not having so much small fish as it had a slightly bitter aftertaste. This is not the fault of Fritto Inn, but rather just the way the choice of fish tastes. The sardine, shrimp and calamari were however perfect so it’s better to go for the shrimp and calamari cone if you are not a fan of small fish. Apart from the the food was served hot and fresh and service was quick.
