I would love to give zero stars but then I want to be fair about the food. Now let's dig in, we had just finished our brunch but as my daughter didn't eat at brunch wanted to eat a little later, we stopped at this place. When they wanted us to sit in the restaurant, they were very courteous but as soon as the waiter realized that we just needed one dish he became rude, started asking us to order more, it would be better for us. Then he had the audacity to say you are just ordering one dish and not even drinks so I am not going to waste my time talking to you. I had to stay because my daughter was hungry and I didn't want her to feel bad but a horrible place. 60 percent tables free during lunch and yet horrible attitude because we are not spending too much. Italian hospitality at its peak.

Further update: the nastiness gets worse, in the middle of the meal, he came with the bill with extra cover charge, 3 euros per person, that led to a further 10 mins of arguments. While all this happened in English, to make it worse he brought some Southeast Asian waiter, who started to speak in broken Hindi to us, as if we couldn't converse in English so far. Additionally, he took away our napkins and cutlery in the middle of the meal once the payment was done while my daughter was...

We recently had the pleasure of dining at Pizzeria Nuova Valigia, and I must say it was an exceptional experience. The servers, Rocky and Rey, went above and beyond to provide amazing customer service. Not only did they serve us with a smile, but they also helped us with directions when we were having trouble finding our hotel, Rocky even took the initiative to talk to the owner on our behalf. Their assistance and hospitality truly made us feel welcome.

We enjoyed our experience so much that we ended up going back to Pizzeria Nuova Valigia for both a late lunch and dinner. The pizza was absolutely delicious, with a perfect balance of flavors and a thin, crispy crust. The portion sizes were generous, ensuring we left satisfied and happy. And let's not forget about the desserts—they were simply divine.

Overall, I would highly recommend Pizzeria Nuova Valigia to anyone looking for a fantastic dining experience. The combination of outstanding customer service, delectable pizza, and delightful desserts make this restaurant a must-visit. I will definitely be recommending this place to my friends and family. Thank you for a memorable...

I had an outstanding dining experience at this Italian restaurant! The food was absolutely incredible. The cuttlefish pasta, also known as black pasta was a standout—perfectly cooked with a rich, flavorful sauce that complemented with the perfectly cooked pasta. The carbonara was another highlight, with a creamy sauce and crispy pancetta that was simply mouthwatering. To finish off the meal, the tiramisu was heavenly—light, creamy, and with just the right amount of coffee flavor.

What made the experience even better was the exceptional service. Our waiter, Rey, was fantastic—friendly, attentive, and knowledgeable about the menu. He made sure we had everything we needed without being intrusive, and his recommendations were spot-on.

The combination of delicious food and great service made this meal unforgettable. Highly recommend this place for anyone craving authentic Italian cuisine in a...

Was für ein Fehler - also meiner.

Average place to eat and drink. We tasted the marinara mussels, pasta with meatballs and pasta carbonara. The pasta carbonara has whipped cream (panna), when usually the ingredients for a carbonara are: eggs, guanciale, and pecorino romano. My partner has lactose intolerance which is incompatible with the whipped cream, when asked they alleged that the ingredients where in the menu, but in the menu the ingredients where: bacon, eggs and cheese (which in the case of pecorino Romano is made out of sheep milk and doesn't affect the lactose intolerance of my partner). The dish was still billed, even leaving the hole dish on the plate, not a professional way to handle this situation. Service was slow. Apart from that, the price was a bit high for the food we ordered.

We had very high hopes to begin with. Ordered the sea food platter and one of the fish was undercooked. My wife got sick later in the night. When pointed out to the waiter, his response was even more upsetting “we cannot be always perfect”. After that, we decided to pay the check and leave. The waiter brought the check with no limoncello as he did to the other tables. As we saw that and was discussing this behavior, his manager reminded him to bring out the limoncellos. It is a very nice establishment but employees like this give a bad name. Won’t repeat and strong suggest for you to check to make sure that your fish is fully cooked before you eat!
