I am not normally a fan of leaving reviews as a whole but the service here was not great at all, the severs were all extremely blunt and spared no time for their guests so they could stand and chat to one another at the entrance of the restaurant we order some pizzas and fries and they came within a reasonable time however the sever managed to spill the fries all over my partners lap and the only solution that was given was to pick them up and put them back on the plate we were not offered a fresh plate which I do both think is very unacceptable especially given the area and the prices after receiving the bill we asked to pay without the service change and we were refused yet again with the server stating that it was clearly posted on their menus so they could not take it off I do understand that it was not a significant amount of money but I find that the fact they were not willing to part with it shows where their priorities lie as a venue. I would not recommend coming here as from the moment we spoke to a member of staff till the very end when we received the bill it was completely a sub-par experience, the only saving grace was the location by the canal which was quite lovely hence the two stars but everything I cannot recommend even to someone travelling...
Read moreMy significant other and I were walking around and found this spot. I was excited to see what was offered.
We walked inside and were seated immediately. I didn’t care for the location of the table. The vibe was depressing.
There was a Pane e coperto incluso -Servizio 12%, which was Bread and cover charge included - Service 12%. The Pane e Coperto incluso - Bread and cover charge included / Servizio - Service 12% was steep in my opinion. From the Beverage Menu, I ordered from the Vini della Casa, which was Wines House section. There was Rosso / Bianco, which was Red / White. I got a 1/4 LT of Bianco for € 6.50. From Le nostre Pizze section, we got a Marinara, which was Pomodoro, origano aglio for € 8,00. It was Tomato, oregano, garlic. From the same section, we got a Calzone, which was Pomodoro, mozzarella, prosciutto e funghi for € 14,00. It was Tomato, mozzarella, ham, mushrooms.
The Pane wasn’t good. It wasn’t worth much. The Bianco was okay. The Marinara was thin and crispy. The quality seemed cheap and it had a boring flavor. The Calzone was a good size. It was simply okay. It didn’t have much flavor.
The service was spotty. I wasn’t impressed.
Overall, I didn’t care for this place. It wasn’t worth the price I paid.

Read moreWe had been here 2 years ago and it quickly became our favorite restaurant to visit in Venice. We returned yesterday and the owner not only remembered us but treated us like old friends. He even remembered our son by name. The food is fantastic. We had a starter of “Antipasto misto di peace”, an assortment of fish including smoked swordfish carpaccio, scallops, grilled octopus, and Baccala. The house red is very good and accompanied our entire meal. For a main course I had the “Grigliata di peace del giorno”, an assortment of grilled fish with polenta. My wife had the “Cappellacci Della casa al branzino all Buranella”, Capellacci with sea bass in a Burano style. Our son enjoyed the “Entrecôte ai ferri con patate”, grilled steak with potatoes. And my mother had the “Spaghetti alla carbonara”. The food was fabulous and plentiful. We enjoyed more wine and the atmosphere of sitting beside the grand canal. We finished our meal with a Tiramisu for my mother, a chocolate dessert ( did not get the name) and a lemon with pistachio dessert. The staff is friendly and welcoming, the service superb, and we will return again and again...
