The team went out of their way to secure us a table on a bustling day – a gesture that set the tone for a delightful evening.
For the commencement, I indulged in cornmeal mush with mushrooms. The dish boasted a delightful texture and a robust flavor, intricately woven with the essence of mushrooms. Additionally, we shared a classic Tagliere di Salumi e Formaggi, a delightful array of cured meats and cheeses, presented in thin slices that practically melted on the tongue – a symphony of flavors.
The anticipation was met with swift fulfillment as the food preparation clocked in at 11 minutes and 43 seconds. Efficient and timely, leaving us more time to savor.
Moving to the main course, I opted for calf with mashed potatoes and mushroom sauce. The meat, tender as an affectionate embrace, left a lasting impression. Yet, I yearned for a more pronounced intensity in the mushroom sauce, a touch more spice to elevate the symphony of flavors.
Price-wise, it nestled comfortably within the average range, and one felt a sense of value for the...

The cuts were nice and the salad too (even though it was not served cold but rather hot). The main course, our pasta, was nothing special. The meat sauce was too salty and my tagliatelle with seafood was just ok.. not really tasteful.. What I didn’t like at all, was that we were seated just outside the restroom, where the kitchen glass door was, which was really dirty, full of oil stains and it made me question the cleanliness of the place. The door kept on opening and the restroom door as well, which made the atmosphere quite stressful for us. The fact that the couple of the table next to us sent their food back because there was something wrong with it and left just 10 minutes after they were served might have also played a role too.. In general it was not a very good choice for...
Read moreWe looked for a restaurant the night before we had opera tickets and luckily could still make a reservation at the first one we picked. We shared antipasti and my dad had the daily special with rabbit while I had the truffle tagliolini. The staff was incredibly friendly and welcomed us right away even though we were ten minutes early.
After 2 days in Italy my dad was happy to finally find proper German beer in a restaurant and was amazed the staff even knew how to prepare it properly.
The portions were small (as almost everywhere in Italy) but we were only a normal amount of hungry so we opted for light antipasti and pasta. If you're very hungry I'd recommend going for a proper primi and secondi piatti.
The prices were alright considering it's only a 2 min walking distance to the arena and it was a great dining...
