One of the most memorable meals I have ever had in my life. The owner and chef (this is a one-woman operation) is a lovely person to talk to and be served by. This is Japanese homestyle cooking at its very best using amazing local ingredients, prepared with skill and attention to detail (she told us that basically everything is prepared by herself including the pickled vegetables, sauces and broths) and served with warmth and love.

You don't order the food, you get whatever she's making that day at the price of that food.
