I went to this place one night while staying in Chatan for work as it had the highest ratings in the area. I walked into the restaurant and thought it would the experience would be relatively quick because there were so many empty tables. However, I was quickly greeted by a polite staff member who told me I had to order according to my place in line and then I noticed 4 other people waiting in chairs (I initially thought they were waiting for togo orders). I then sat and waited, and customers literally have to wait to be called by a staff member up to the register for their turn to place the order which seems really inefficient. After about 15 minutes, I was finally called up to order my burger, and after my placed my order (and only after) when I was getting ready to pay was I then informed that my burger would take 33 minutes. The staff were very nice, and wanted to confirm that I was ok with waiting for 33 minutes, I said it was fine, but also thought to myself, you should probably tell people that before they get up to the register. There were two couples in line behind me, and after they ordered at about 7:00pm, the staff closed the restaurant and put a sign out front that said “sold out, closed” which per google is about two hours earlier than they should be closing.
Anyway, after 33 minutes as they promised my burger finally arrived. The presentation was very good, the bun very good, and the overall assembly was very good. I had the “neobacon cheese burger” which is topped with crispy onions and it was decent, esp for he price of 1600 yen including fries. Did it “wow” me? No – I didn’t thnk the beef was anything special, actually the meat was sort of blandish. I think if it had been quicker, more logical, and efficient service I would have been more impressed, but I was not that impressed. Read moreI genuinely liked this place until I experienced how they handled multiple customers. A couple was ahead of my party in line and was viewing/discussing the menu for over 10 minutes. After waiting patiently we decided to go ahead of them since we already knew what we wanted to order. As soon as I arrived to the cash register to place my order while the other party was still viewing the menu they denied me service and told me to continue waiting despite the party ahead of me still extensively discussing the menu. I found it to be rude and inconsiderate. The staff should take better action and decision making when faced with these decisions. What is the quarter inch layer of white sauce on the bottom of the top bun? Mayonnaise mixed with what? Gross! Why so much!? But that wasn’t the problem. Salt. By the end of the burger I could barely take it anymore. I had to leave a couple bites on the plate. As if he knocked over the salt shaker while cooking it, gave a little scrape and served it anyway.
