This yakiniku was pretty good. This was recommended to us by our niece. I'm a big lover of beef tongue (Gyu Tan) and other various meats. The good thing about this restaurant is their meat is never frozen. The only complaint I had about the restaurant is some of the meat was kind of tough. One thing I like about the restaurant is you can order everything in your desired language at the table through a tablet.
One cool feature about this restaurant is they have a delivery bot that brings your food to the table and takes your dirty dishes away once you load it on there which I thought was pretty cool. We had nice seats by the window and it was kind of cozy and private. And the food comes to your table really quick. The staff was really friendly and professional. And the prices with the current yen rate was pretty good. I highly recommend this place and I think you'll enjoy it. The location is in American village maybe a hundred meters away from the Hilton DoubleTree hotel.
Elected to get all you can eat menu which was about 9,000 yen for two people which roughly translated to about $69 with the current exchange rates. The top tier menu includes beef tongue as a premium selection. And the beef tongue were big fatty marble slices and were...
Read moreI've been going to Yumemaru Mihama since 2010, and over the years there have been lots of changes. This used to be THE YAKINIKU I'd bring friends and family to when visiting Okinawa, and used to go myself with with friends at least once a month if not more. Unfortunately in the last few years, the quality, service, and atmosphere of this place has decreased dramatically. I can no longer recommend it for anyone, and honestly they should just close their doors at this point. From getting rid of their most popular menu items because were 'too time consuming to make' to forcing customers to pay for courses and alcohol in advance to replacing their nice square grills with cheaper round ones with disposable surfaces, the quality of this place has gone downhill drastically, while prices have only gone up. There are far better Yakiniku Restaurants to go to. It pains me to say it, but AVOID this place in...
Read moreI go here every one to two weeks. With my family, with friends, with kids, without kids. I love all of the options (we always ge the middle green option). My husband's absolute favorite side is the garlic cheese Naan, mine is the garlic rice in the stone pot or the cheese and butter potato in the foil. My kids always eat sausages and rice with cheese mixed in. My husband and I loooove the yumemaru ribs, cube steak, and garlic chicken. Among other things of course.
Ooh and it's really fun going just with my husband, because we get to keep our shoes on and go sit next to eachother in chairs and servi, the little serving robot, serves us instead of a person. And we get our own little...
