We had such a lovely and memorable experience at this cookie shop! After buying a box of beautifully designed cookies, we accidentally left it on a nearby bench. When we returned shortly after, it was unfortunately gone. We checked with the shop just in case someone had returned it—but no luck.

However, the staff were incredibly kind and understanding. To our surprise, they generously offered us 2 cookies, completely free of charge. Their kindness and hospitality truly touched us.

You always hear about the honesty and warmth of Japanese people, and we’re so glad we got to experience it firsthand.

As for the cookies themselves—absolutely delicious! The designs are stunning, with intricate artwork like Mt. Fuji, making them perfect for gifts or just a special treat. The flavors are unique and well-balanced; we especially loved the Earl Grey chocolate. It’s clear that a lot of care and creativity goes into every detail.

This store is very conveniently located at the foothills of Mt Fuji. The cookies are buttery, crumbly and shaped like Mt Fuji. No complaints on the cookie front. Not overly sweet too, which I liked very much. There are quite a few flavours to choose from: plain Jane vanilla, strawberry, matcha, earl grey, etc. And You can choose between snow capped (with icing on it) or regular. Can be purchased as a single cookie( range between 130-140 ¥) or as packs of 3 and 5. The packaging is pretty cute and make perfect souvenirs. Could be wrong, but I haven’t seen these cookies sold at the airport or elsewhere, so I would recommend buying these if you happen to be in the area. A beautiful little shop with an amazing selection of cookies and flavours. We went for the strawberry and vanilla ones with chocolate on top and they were delicious. One is costing just 180 Yen, especially around the Mount Fuji here that’s a really fair price! There are also sets of multiple cookies in different variations available. The scenic ropeway is directly next to this shop and mostly crowded, so if you’re planning to go up the hill with the gondola, get yourselves some snacks for the wait in this...
