After visiting Chureito Pagoda, I felt almost obligated to stop by and have my first matcha latte in Japan. The atmosphere was wonderful, and the truck itself was really cute. When they realized I was a tourist, they even gave me a sticker and a coaster as a small gift.

I loved the setup—just standing there, watching as my matcha latte was carefully made right in front of me. The store owners were kind and spoke warmly, making the experience even better. As for the matcha latte itself, it was delicious—smooth, rich, and not too sweet.

Just a short 5-minute walk from Shimoyoshida Station, it’s a hidden gem that deserves to be discovered. we were visiting the Shimoyoshida area (Chureito Pagoda and Shimoyoshida Honcho street) when we encountered this unique camper cafe.
