I’ve been going to El Borracho every time I am in the area for the past two years and have always enjoyed the atmosphere, the tacos and the cerveza modelo especial since it’s hard to find where I live. Today, must have been an off day. I went earlier than I’m used to and they had the lunch menu which is very limited. To be honest, that is not even a big deal but the waitress they had today was just rude as they can be. She rolled her eyes at us at least three times. We asked to see the regular menu but she just pointed out the items we were allowed to order with the worst and heaviest attitude someone can have. She was the only waitress on this day and there was a total of 2 tables with people but maybe she was overworked. My mistake was going in during the day instead of my usual time during dinner time. I go to Fukuoka about once every two months but if I see her again next time I’ll just get some Thai...

This is coming from someone who is both married to a Mexican woman, and who has spent lots of time in Mexico. This is the best Mexican food you will find in Japan.

The margaritas are excellent. Not some gross frozen nonsense overpowered by sweet and sour like you get in so many Mexican restaurants. The banana pastry dessert and the tea creme brulee were both incredible. Everyone was so friendly. I hope we are able to visit again soon. This is easily one of our favorite Mexican restaurants. Thanks to everyone there for the great evening. We were already having a wonderful time in Fukuoka and this was the perfect...
