Bakamusuko — Restaurant in Kyoto

We came here after the other restaurants were full. They advertised that prices were low for drinks so we thought we’d give it a go.

Let me preface this by saying I love Korean food and Japanese food. In all my time in Japan I have never had a bad food experience, and I always try to go to places that aren’t just tourist traps.

This was by far the worst food experience I have had in not just Japan but in a long time.

I was with my Japanese friends, and even they were hugely disgusted by it. The ratings are misleading.

The chicken was over cooked, dry and from weird offcuts of chicken. The sauce was cold and just poured over the chicken, unlike Korean chicken should be. The ‘drinks’ which were cheap, had no alcohol, and when we ordered another round after talking to staff about it, they brought smaller glasses, and the drinks tasted exactly the same, with no or extremely limited alcohol.

The staff were also super rude except for one guy who acted not even super nice.. but it was standout compared to the other staff. I understand work is stressful, but don’t take it out on the customers.

The place smelled like old grilled chicken, and when we left the place, the smell followed us.. when we got on the train, our clothes continued to smell of the off-putting scent reminding us of the experience we just had.

I do not recommend going here despite the ratings. Something was severely wrong this night, and it should...

The highball price is really cheap. However, the service fee of over 400 yen is applied to everyone who doesn’t order all-you-can-drink-and-eat menu. ●ユッケ丼ビビンバ 1,850円(税込) 韓国と言えばおかずが沢山ある定食をイメージします！ こちらのランチセットも豪華✨️✨️ ナムルや韓国キムチ、韓国のりなど色々あります！ 数種類のおかずを好きなように組み合わせてユッケと共に食べれるんです！ 主役のユッケは、大きな卵黄とお肉のとろとろとした口当たり、タレの味付けが美味しかったです😌♡ たっぷりと入っているので食べごたえがありました！ おかずを全て混ぜ合わせてビビンバのようにして食べるのもオススメです🥄

この定食はなんと！ ヤンニョムチキンとスープもセットなんです！！ こんなにも豊富でこのお値段で食べられるなんて驚きです！ 満足すること間違いなしです🫶

こちらのお店では、他にも沢山メニューがあります！ 韓国料理を筆頭にユニークなメニューも沢山！ ランチセットでお腹は充分になりましたが 「他のメニューも食べたい！」と食欲が湧いてしまいました🤤

ランチセット以外にも追加で何品かオーダーしました！

チーズトッポギ トロトロのチーズがたっぷり！！甘めのチーズなので甘じょっぱくて美味しかったです！

ハニーマスタードチキン 韓国チキンは欠かせません！ 甘いチキンなのでお子様でも美味しく食べられそうです👦 ザクザクの衣は韓国チキンらしくて美味しかったです！

チヂミ 韓国料理と言えばこちらも外せません！ 外はカリカリ！中はもっちもち！ おつまみとしてパクパクと食べられる1品です！

おさつバター さつまいもが大好きなのでこれは絶対食べたいなと思いました！ カリカリのさつまいもにはちみつとバターを合わせると最高に美味しくなります👍

甘いものも食べたくてデザート類も注文
