Had the chance of attending the Kenbu Show and put my hands on a Katana and could learn some basics.
The activity starts with a video, which I think isn’t the best way to introduce into the samurai culture - I can open YouTube and watch a video myself for that.
The Katana training while wearing the Samurai clothing was definitely my highlight.
But I learned nothing about the way of the Samurai or Bushido. Maybe it was the wrong tour but I would’ve liked it to learn more about it. At the end a Kenbu show was demonstrated. It was nice but all in all the Katana training was the best part.
