I can’t get enough of this place! The taste of the food, the service and the cozy atmosphere was perfect! I highly recommend this place if you are in the area. Some information needed. The menu is only in Japanese and Google Translate will not help you a lot here (with translating the courses). The chiefs choice menu is 5000yen per person for food, but you can give them another estimate and they will adjust accordingly (they ask for your budget). We asked for a chiefs choice menu for 3500 per person (we communicated via Google translate), and then we told them our allergies. We got 6 courses (sharing menu), some were great and some were amazing. I would definitely go back! Even though their English is limited they really do their best to make you a happy customer. Scam? Wish we read reviews before going in. Beautiful atmosphere but the fun ended there. Food was very very average and the menu had no prices. We asked how much it would be for each dish and were told 1500-2000 (for 3 portions) by the waitress who had a serious attitude problem. At the end we received a bill for far more than we expected. We asked them to itemise the bill, which they really didn’t want to do. Reluctantly, they finally did it and literally made up prices in front of us to get to the total - crossing out numbers in the hopes it would add up. It still didn’t add up. And everything ranged from 2000-3000....

Fantastic atmosphere, great music, delicious food! Tried so many new and interesting things, most notably jellyfish.

The souschef recommended draught beer for starters which was the best beer I've tried so far in Japan, and we later enjoyed some local sake (similarly the best I've tried).

For 2 appetizers, 6 dishes, 4 beers and a small jug of sake we paid around 11000 yen which in my opinion was great value given the quality of food, service and the overall experience!
