Had a great Bday lunch here with friends.
This is a small place so reservations would be pretty recommended. All seating is at the counter top and only eight seats.
But, as such it's just you and the other people and the chef. The menu varies from day to day/week to week. We had a pescetarian with our group and he was happy to accommodate.
We had a bigger course than the typical lunch, with a couple starters, a pasta dish, meat course, and dessert.
The selection of dried meats was from Italy and all were tasty. Then, fried eggplant topped with cheese and a creamy shrimp sauce. It was excellently seasoned and cooked. The pasta was a thick spaghetti noodle topped with dried cod roe from Italy, and topped with the chefs own home made roe. The thick noodles were cooked perfectly and the sauce was briny but not overly fishy like tarako can be.
The chicken thigh was grilled and then finished in the oven, for a lovely crunch on the skin and a juicy finish. It was marinated in sparkling wine. I don't know if this actually helped or not but it was great. It was served on a bed of sautéed cabbage and tomato, with a background punch of horseradish to accent the flavors.
Finally dessert was a chocolate cake served with a chocolate anglaise and whipped cream. The cake was great, with a nice crunch on the outside and balanced with the sauce and cream.

インサラータルッサはロシアサラダの意味で、ポテトサラダにアンチョビが混ざっている。パンに大変合う。一番美味しかった。
帆立とカブのトレパネーゼはトマトやホウレンソウも使われていて、まずまず。松の実を使うとジェノベーゼ、アーモンドかピスタチオを使うとトレパネーゼになるそう。
イカ墨パスタは1.9ミリ太麺乾麺使用。茹ですぎてコシが弱い。もっとニンニクとエシャロットを沢山入れて欲しかった。
主人も客同士も良く会話する店。地元客二組、関西客一組、遅れて気仙沼から一人客が入ってきた。
