Another mom and pop shop! I randomly stopped riding my bike and did a quick search for ramen nearby which led me here. So glad I did! A lot of people were already inside eating.
The owner is super welcoming and sweet as well! He even noticed I was hot while I was wolfing down my ramen and took the initiative to turn on the ac. I was just going to sweat it out!
I got the miso ramen and gyoza. I was tempted to do set A with fried rice after seeing an order come out, but it was too much food for just myself.
Gyoza was delicious with a good balance of flavor! They come out piping hot. Sorry no photos of them. They ended up in my belly before I could remember to take photos.
Miso ramen is highly recommended. I ate more than I usually do and that says a lot. The broth is simply good with just the right amount of saltiness. The bamboo and the chashu were both tender and there's a burst of flavor as you chew.
Water is self served. Just get up and grab a cup for yourself. Super cold and refreshing.
