No photos because I dropped in very briefly on my way elsewhere, but I feel compelled to share that the coffee was good, but the chai was outstanding. Possibly the best chai latte I've ever had even. If I lived in this city, I'd go out of my way to stop by.

My cortada was perfectly executed, although whether it's to your taste is a matter of personal preference — the beans are a lighter roast than is common in this country, and the milk isn't as creamy as I would personally prefer. Still a good cortada, though, which is a pretty rare find here...

This was a great coffee shop in the area. The kind of coffee you can pick is super nice ranging with coffee beans that come from places such as Guatemala to Africa, etc. They make the coffee fresh as you order it and the service is so good. It was so relaxing to sit and enjoy the coffee while exploring the area. The music they had playing made enjoying the coffee even more. Ordered a Cafe Latte. It tastes different from other lattes that I have drank. It has sort of a bitter taste, and it leaves a bitter feeling in your mouth but at the same time you want to drink more. The staff were quite friendly and could converse in a bit of English as well! Quite a good environment to just chill and drink some coffee! More expensive than my favorite Starbucks coffee but this is a really new experience and taste worth to try! Would rate it 6...

There are two locations of Trunk Coffee Bar. Both cafes get warm pop modern yet warm classic interior design but Takaoka (this location) focus more on coffees. Big roaster, sofa, counter, and outdoor seating. They only have bottled craft beer, 330ml size from the same brewery, bit pricy. I would go the other one in Kamimaezu for craft beers of several breweries from the tap

One of my favorite coffee in Nagoya. The atmosphere is great and chill, making me feel calm and so relax in such an extremely hot day😌 it's famous for their Aeropress, but the temperature was so high, I chose espresso tonic that day instead of Aeropress. I would definitely try it next time when I come back. A female barista is friendly and cute, thanks for her service:)
