Ajino-gyutan Kisuke Osaka-umekita — Restaurant in Osaka

I've been a regular customer at Kisuke for 10 years and have never felt so angry and disappointed. This shop wouldn't let me add a medium portion of rice to a large portion without any explanation. At the Yaesu Kisuke shop at the north exit of Tokyo Station, they'll give you a large portion for free if you order a medium portion. When I asked why they didn't tell me when I ordered, instead of showing any apology or empathy, the staff (one male Chef and one female staff who were standing at the grill in front of me while taking my complaint) started making fun of me and laughing. I felt incredibly disrespected and couldn't believe Kisuke had such rude employees. I was truly disappointed.

Australian tourist, this place has an English menu and was chef cooked food (not grill).

Best ox tongue I have ever tried. We had both the special thick cut and the thin cut. Both were delicious, the thick cut was so tender and flavourful, highly recommend.

We also got the ox tongue soup which was good and the egg with ox tongue (not that good).

Portion sizes are small so for a meal be prepared to spend ~¥4,000 but the quality...

I ordered the thick cut gyutan set, smoked gyutan, sides of yam and okra+mulukhiyah(?), and the bamboo wrapped custard (and a lemon sour to drink).

Everything was very good, EXCEPT for the main dish, the thick cut gyutan. It wasn't BAD, but I found it somewhat overcooked and oversalted, which was a bit disappointing for a cut of meat that is so good when cooked well, and which was the main...
