Great spot for high quality unagi in a convenient location. The menu focuses on unagi (i.e. freshwater eel) which is grilled to what I imagine to be ideal, crispy on the outside and tender all throughout without over saucing.
Uniquely, this place offers riffs on unagi through their side dishes such as unagi liver; tamagoyaki with unagi; and fried unagi spine. The liver is especially interesting as this version is broiled/braised as compared to the typically boiled part which is a condiment in soups.
The pricing is fair ranging from ¥4000-6000 as the price of unagi has steadily risen over the years. The only critique of the experience would be the lack of privacy screens as the openness does mean your enjoyment of the meal is free for...

The menu doesn't offer much variety, focusing primarily on eel rice variations. We ordered one full portion and another smaller portion. The eel was flavorful, but be aware that there were numerous tiny bones, which might be an issue for some. We were fine with it, but it’s something to consider if you’re not a fan of...
