The restaurant is located in a bustle area. We visited on a Friday night with reservation made three weeks ahead, in a group of 4 adults and 2 kids as tourists. We were arranged to a table at the open-hall area, indeed we were the only group being arranged at the open-hall area, with all other customers, seemingly business groups, at exclusive rooms. Not a family-group-welcome place with services focus on business customers, perhaps we were visited as tourists on a one time basis and offered no motivation for the restaurant to maintain our loyalty. The food is fair, as you will reasonably expected from any other restaurants of similar price tag, with no good surprises. we’ve encountered a lot of good surprises, in terms of quality of food, authenticity and originality, level of hospitality in the remaining of our trip with even a lot better price/ quality ratio.
Reply to restaurant: 1/ the table-seat was located in a hall-area, which isn’t normally expected for any reservation made three-week in advance, in any cities around the world. And the restaurant was NOT in full house when we visited. Certainly not on par with the service standards as renowned with Osaka. 2/ I wish your services offered was as responsive as your reply to my review - we did not receive proper attention from the restaurant staffs. The staffs looked away when we asked for assistance, we were left idle for over 30 mins by the table. 3/ your simply defending reply displays no intention to understand our disappointment and lacking sincerity, which mirrors to to service we received at your place
4/ to be explicit, when we were left unattended we tried to look for assistance around, and we encountered three different staffs having eye contact with us yet looked away and all avoided our table. Simply put - I cannot imagine this is the service standard I shall be expecting in any restaurants.
The problem with the seatings we’ve been arranged was that all staffs were being attentive only with the private rooms of business customers, whilst we were left idle at the open-hall area. And we were the only table in the area by the time we visited.
Disappointing experience for spending over ¥27,000.

Located in the bustling Shinsaibashi district, this elegant eatery offers an authentic taste of Fukuoka’s famous chicken-based cuisine in a refined setting.
The restaurant’s mizutaki features premium Hanamidori chicken (華味鳥), a specially raised breed known for its rich flavor and tender texture. The dish is prepared by slowly simmering chicken bones to create a deeply flavorful white broth. Guests first enjoy the soup on its own, savoring its umami, before adding chicken, vegetables, and other ingredients to the hot pot. A highlight of the meal is the final course, where rice is added to the remaining broth to make a delicious zōsui (雑炊, rice porridge).
With a stylish yet traditional atmosphere, Hakata Hanamidori Shinsaibashi-ten provides both counter and private tatami seating, making it ideal for intimate dinners or group gatherings. The attentive service and carefully crafted courses ensure a memorable dining experience. Also the service was very bad, food took forever to arrive + (lady in the front was rude and she even mistook our order). When the bill came around it was totally up to 11750 yen even though we ordered one hot pot. I personally don't recommend it... by far the worst...
