We enjoyed this hotel and got a great price for it, but it wasn't our best stay of our trip to Japan.||||The lobby is really nice. The staff was kind, helpful, and could speak English. I forgot one of my bags in the reception area and they had it labeled behind the desk for me to collect with everything intact, which was great. There are bikes for rent behind the building which is very cool, which only discovered this at the end of our trip. There's a spa available, but we never took advantage of it. The toilets are modern Totos which is great. The shower came equipped with good soap, shampoo and conditioner. Lots of toiletries were supplied as well as sleepwear and slippers. The sink was separate from the bathroom. There is a tablet in the room that can be used to control lighting and temperature. Mine said there was an error when I tried to use it, so I didn't bother. The bed is tucked between two walls. Being 6'1 I was afraid my feet would touch the wall, but it wasn't a problem and the bed was actually quite firm and comfortable. The pillows collapse quite easily but I made it work by using a couple of them at once. The free water provided is great. There are vending machines available and the rooftop restaurant looked quite nice. The location was fantastic. It's still a few minutes walk to the metro, but we managed to walk to most places we wanted to visit. We needed to leave our bags behind while running errands post-checkout and the staff was accommodating for that.||||It was a little cramped. Generally it wasn't an issue for me and it was still quite cozy. The only issue was that it was a little uncomfortable to have to put my bag back together and zip it up to be able to open/close the door. It's also a little tight if you want to be able to do some morning exercise. If you're wondering about how to use the spa, I didn't bother, but I was told it's one you enter nude. I was staying on the 13th floor. The blackout curtains were exceptional. They were so good that I had no way of guessing the time when I woke up. However, the AC was making some annoying clicking sounds at times and I found the room could sometimes get noisy enough that I ended up sleeping with noise canceling...

Read moreWe were there in the last week of October 2024. This hotel has clean and cozy rooms. Location is good. They serve fresh bread in the lobby each day. Overall the hotel is good. The most disappointed part was the service. During our check out, the manager, Taehyun Kim claimed that we lost one of the room key. He said we supposed returning two instead of one key. He asked for 2000 yen for the lost card key. I told him that when we checked in for 4 rooms, each room only got one key. We had to request for second key afterwards. But one of the couple said they didn’t need second one since they always stayed together. That’s the room key the manager claimed missing. We explained to him. But he insisted the hotel always gave out 2 keys when checked in. Later, he showed us the face like didn’t want to deal with us saying “you don’t have to pay it, you guys can leave now.” We were so pissed, sound like we r the one who make the mistake. We requested to check the CCTV during our check in time at the front desk to see how many keys they handed out to us. The so call manager Kim warned us once he checked the CCTV and found out is our fault, he will call police. We said yes, we agreed to call police. It took him about 10 minutes, when he came out, he changed to smiling face and said he had to check the room we stayed as well. After he came back, he said everything is ok now. He didn’t even apologized for their mistake. I asked for his business card, he hides himself in a room. Until I asked his staff for his business card, only he gave me his business card. We have been traveling to a lot of places and stayed at many different hotels in different countries. We know what we are doing. But as a so call hotel manager didn’t provide professional service and didn’t know how to deal with the clients, our group of people are so disappointed. They should be...
