the Pork Chop Rice was absolutely delicious. The pork cutlet was perfectly fried—incredibly crispy on the outside, yet tender and juicy on the inside. The sauce was flavorful, and the entire dish was executed flawlessly. However, the service we received was deeply upsetting and completely overshadowed the meal. As Asian diners, we were subjected to clearly discriminatory treatment throughout our visit. The discrimination was evident in two key areas: prioritization and communication. Firstly, we were consistently deprioritized. We watched as several parties who arrived after us—all non-Asian—were greeted, seated, and had their orders taken before us. We had to wait an exceptionally long time just to get a menu and place our initial drink order. Secondly, and more insidiously, was the stark difference in communication and demeanor. The staff were warm, smiling, and engaging with other tables, making friendly conversation. When they came to our table, their tone became cold, abrupt, and purely transactional. The contrast was palpable and offensive. This double standard was most evident at the end of the meal. We saw staff offering warm, cheerful goodbyes to other customers, while we were completely ignored upon our departure. It is a profound shame that such wonderful food is paired with a service culture that permits racial bias. We will not be returning, and I cannot recommend this restaurant to anyone who values basic respect...

This place is tucked away in a little alley behind the main street — easy to miss, but absolutely worth finding! It has a proper traditional Japanese bar-style setup with around 15 high chairs. Cozy, authentic, and full of local vibes.

The pork cutlet was amazing — perfectly marinated, super crispy on the outside, and tender and juicy inside. We also tried the prawn, which was deep-fried but not oily at all — so fresh and juicy! The rice was fragrant and slightly sweet (ē±³é„é¦™ē”œē³Æ) — the perfect match with the dishes.

For wheelchair users, there’s a small ramp at the front, so access is possible. A wheelchair can fit comfortably at the front bar facing the door, or in the corner on the left-hand side of the bar.

Overall, a small but fantastic spot for anyone who loves great Japanese comfort food....
