Do not trust the staff at these nightclubs.
A friend and I went to OWL. At the entrance, a staff member gave us a voucher and told us that if we went to Piccadilly and bought the entry ticket there, we would have access to both clubs (OWL and Piccadilly). So that’s exactly what we did.
We stayed at Piccadilly for a while and later decided to go to OWL to check it out. When we arrived, we were denied entry. The same staff member who had given us the voucher told us that we should have shown it to the Piccadilly staff before going to OWL, but we had already shown it when entering Piccadilly.
They tore off our wristbands and said we would have to pay again to get back into Piccadilly. That made no sense: we had already paid for the ticket, and at the entrance of both clubs we were told we could indeed enter both places.
They tried to force us to buy another ticket, and we said we would call the police to deal with the situation because they were clearly trying to extort us.

Read moreAn eye- catching show with bundles of Japanese culture
While arrives at the nightclub, wagyu bugger and self-pick drink were served. l ate the delicious set while waiting for the show to start. It's interesting to be in a nightclub during daytime, when you could see everything clearly. The emcee who dressed in traditional sumo referee's clothes is humour and brought us a lot of laughters. The musician group plays traditional Japanese musical instruments in a modern way, extremely cool. The main performers, two sumo wrestlers showed us sumo skills and what you shouldn't do during the wrestling, very easy to understand yet interesting. Their wrestling were breathtaking too. Challengers part was the climax. Those on the stages tried their best and audience were very exciting too. It's a show suitable for all family members, or on a solo trip. An ideal way to step into...

The two sumo wrestlers’ presence and spirit helped me better understand the deep cultural significance of this sport. The host was also very engaging and added great energy to the event. The atmosphere reached its peak with the crowd fully immersed.
I’m truly grateful to have discovered this performance. I’ve always wanted to watch a sumo match, but never had the chance—yet here I was, unexpectedly enjoying it in the heart of Umeda, Osaka. Such a joyful and unique experience! If you’ve never tried something like this before—you must come...
