Sushi Itcho Kitashinsaibashi — Restaurant in Osaka

Can't fault this sushi restaurant for any reason. English menu available and plenty of seats on offer. Dining experience is quite relaxing and got to sit at the counter to watch the chefs working away. Ordered the set meal which included a good variety of sushi along with salad, miso soup and what appears to be a thick egg based soup which tasted nice. They also fry the shrimp heads which were quite salty and cruncy. Perfect meal if you're new to Japanese sushi cuisine and can't decide. Cost more than sushi train restaurants but the better quality ingredients and food preparation is well worth it! Incredible nigiri!!! Fresh, made in front of you and very reasonable for the quality. The chefs don't speak English but sushi/nigiri menu is in English. There are some items that come 2 pieces for one order and some that have 1 piece per order (eel and sea urchin - both highly recommend). For items that are not nigiris, use Google translate and see writings on the walls, there is omelette, tempura prawns, clams in a tomato soup and more. Amazing food. My son wanted chicken but the seared tuna was so good he left happy and full. My daughter (12) often only eats rice and cooked tuna sushi but was all in once she stepped out of her box and tried the raw tuna nigri I'm a fan of eel and it was great. 1 out of 4 of us wanted to go for this style of diner but all 4 were very happy and they way the chef appreciated that we enjoyed it also made us all feel good.
