SYABU-YO Q Plaza Shinsaibashi — Restaurant in Osaka

Not sure what all the bad reviews are for. Didn't experience anything bad. Had a great experience!! Was a little hard to find the building but ill attach a photo. I found that the only way to get there was through the elevator that's outside of the building. I guess the only downside was that the ordering time was short but its an average amount of time. I became full by the time our 80 min was up. I cant recommend the spicy medicinal herb broth enough!! The robot was super cute. Didn't really need to talk to staff at all so there were no language barrier problems. Would def come again just for the medicinal herb broth! Went around 3pm. No wait. Got the beef and pork, around 30,000 Yen per person. Upon leaving it was 5pm—there was definitely a lot of people waiting to get a table. Try to avoid coming around dinner time unless you have...

First the food was not bad and the staff were prompt in clearing our empty plates.

However we were disappointed with the restaurant’s hygiene. When we were about to eat we found a stack of used tissues hidden behind the tablet. We told the staff and the manager came. She sheepishly said sorry and cleared the used tissue she didn’t even sanitise or even offer to change our table.

This is not I would expect from a country like Japan where they are well known for their service. After we finished eating we were even charged full price. We initially wanted to tell our friends to come this place whenever they visit Japan. Instead I’ll be telling them to stay...
