Ten Ti Jin Nippombashi branch — Restaurant in Osaka

Edit: Visited again on December 2023. It used to be good, now it's kinda disappointing. Instead of the older man who I always see when I visit the restaurant, two new younger cooks were there handling at the time I went. The pork wasn't as tasty anymore. It tasted strongly of gas which I think that's why it was cooked faster this time. I wish they take the time to properly grill the meat so as it wouldn't taste like gas. I don't mind waiting longer for a proper meal. I also hope the older cook trains the other cooks well.

The ramen was good, but the star is the butadon. Had the ramen and butadon set the first time I visited, but since then, I just order the large butadon hehe. It tastes similar to Filipino bbq because it's sweet. Better try it at least once!

Came here first night in Osaka, it’s always hit and miss in places like this. I’ve never felt so disrespected in Japan, I guess those people exist after all. The minute we entered the guy didn’t greet us but rather gave a stink eye, it was pretty mad that people are coming to eat I guess. Other guest came in but welcomed with a very different attitude. Poor sanitation as well. I don’t mind people not wearing gloves or mask but one of the guy literally coughed in the rice bowl in multiple occasions in front of me, luckily it wasn’t my order. Visited here 2 times because of the pork rice bowl!

This outlet uses charcoal to cook their pork, which is from japan. The meat imparts a smoky smell and a crispy and charred crust with a moist and tender meat.

They have several outlets in the area, I have tried another outlet which does not use charcoal and the taste is so different!!

Also, I am not sure if i was just hungry but the chef that cooked on 6th jan sat night cooked the meat to perfection that it made us go back a second time. 无法忘怀.
