Our return visit to on left much to be desired. The yakitori was, as before, just average, though it did complement the act of drinking well. Our first visit had been pleasant enough, despite a minor hiccup with an order, but this time, the experience was starkly different. We had made a reservation for the coveted corner seats, with the advice to arrive when the restaurant opened. However, upon arrival, the atmosphere was palpably unwelcoming. The big boss appeared to prioritize his friends, who also reserved seats, going out of his way to personally make them drinks, which starkly highlighted a divide in service quality. This preferential treatment made us feel like second-class patrons. The ambiance, which might have been fine on our first visit, now felt cold and unwelcoming. There’s a suspicion this place might not be particularly foreigner-friendly, given the distinct treatment we observed. While we were willing to give a second chance, this visit has convinced us not to return. The combination of average food, an unwelcoming atmosphere, and clear favoritism has left a sour...
Read moreCute people who love their jobs This was our favorite kushikatsu (fried skewers) and yakitori (grilled skewers) place in Japan. The yakitori is charcoal grilled which adds a nice smoky flavor. Sometimes there are pieces that are a bit overdone but they are so sweet it is easily looked over. The kushikatsu was fried to a perfect crispness. The staff is the best part of the experience and an awesome representation of Osaka hospitality. Every time they catch you take a photo of the barbecue, they photo bomb you in the cutest way.

Read moreThe staff were friendly and welcoming. They would tell you which sauce is meant for which kind of yakitori you ordered.
The food tasted really good! Every yakitori was juicy and super tasty! They even had an english menu which made things so easy for me. They also had draft beer which was great. Pricing of the food is very reasonable!
The only downside of this place is that the orders were in sets of 5.
I spent a total of $4700 yen for 2 people.
Really enjoyed myself and would want to come back...
