Sukiyaki Syabu-Syabu Nihonbashi Tsuruya — Restaurant in Osaka

If I can rate it to below 1 star I will give it.

First of all, we went dine in last night for a Shabu because of my sister’s friend was highly recommended to us.

We did order the premium wagyu shabu, special wagyu shabu , mix pork shabu and some duck slices plate.

During the dine in, the staff were talking so loudly and laughing the whole time we are dine in there. The reason I mentioned that it was interrupting our conversation and annoying to other customers, as mostly customers want some private time to enjoy their time together! Not listening to staff’s nonsense conversations!

Now this is the reason I definitely not go back and recommended people to not go there!

We found a fly in the sesame sauce!! But I swear I didn’t see it the first place and not sure how the fly went in the sauce (it could be from the fresh vegetables or fresh meat and dropped in the sauce), after I started to eat already. Then I called for the staff to check What it was! Then the staff changed the sauce and just apologised for it.!! Well at the time I saw the fly, we family almost walked out the restaurant but because some of us already started to eat, so we decided to stay till it ended and we also tired from a long day walked already, also it almost 8pm.

Other reason is, we paid for the service and the food!! And ITS NOT CHEAP!!!!(need to remember this)

Your service and food quality standards need to be improved before it went down for...

I really wanted to enjoy this sukiyaki experience, but it was disappointing and felt like a tourist trap. For two people, we paid ¥10,650 (Dinner) and received only 3–4 very small slices of meat each (We ordered the wagyu B and C with 2 non alcoholic drinks), along with a plate of vegetables that were very tough and hard to chew, we ended up not eating the napa cabbages, the server were kind enough to replace the vegetable portion for us though, but the cabbages were still very tough.

At this price point, I expected higher-quality beef and a more satisfying portion. Instead, it felt like poor value for money, especially compared to the many amazing food options Osaka...

Delicious sukiyaki! I felt so lucky to pass by after coming back from Nipponbashi Station to my Hotel. I chose the Sukiyaki Special Wagyu—with extra meat—and it was absolutely the right decision. The vegetables were fresh and generously served, and the set came with 5 beautiful slices of Wagyu beef. The soup had a perfect sweetness that really complemented the premium meat. Everything was so delicious, and the service from the young waitresses was excellent—friendly and attentive throughout my visit. If you’re in the area, this place...
