the b namba-kuromon — Hotel in Osaka

We have been travel to osaka for 3 times and i think this hotel has most of what casual traveller need: A good night sleep from quiet hotel, despite the location near to market and vibrant dotonbori Room space for opening two big luggages and still have room for walk Comfy bed, its not springbed though but they give better quality bed than the similar prices Super clean, and the lobby smell good, they give extra coffee and jam bread every 3 PM The generosity of giving us early check in, as we come in 12:30 just for dropping the luggage, but they give it to us, even in the high season (November) Price was just okay for this month, not too bad, but still less competitive There is lawson and drugstore downstair, cosmetics also across the street Just a 100 meter walk literally for namba kuromon market (its an overprice market) There was a machine that can remove smells on your coat, really useful after your BBQ or satay or ramen dinner Near to the station if you want to go daytrip to kobe or nara

The drawback ? Just figured out its really tiring walking from amerikamura back to the hotel. Other than that...

“Convenient” Kuromon market right across the road. You can get to all the main attractions on foot. Location is awesome. Short walk from Namba station. One of the largest beds I’ve even seen in a hotel room, especially in Japan. At check in, staff mentioned that the temperature will be controlled centrally which got us worried cos we didn’t exactly have an awesome experience with that. However, it wasn’t seem to be centrally controlled on the days we stayed there as we were able to set the temperature to our comfort. Just that it got weirdly warm for a bit in the middle of my 2 nights stay which of course, we were not too well rested. Other than that, usual basic hotel where they allow you to store with bags before and after check or out. Amenities were left at the lift lobby for self help. I had an awesome time staying here. The bed and room were spacious enough where I didn't feel too restricted. I paid a little more for the breakfast service on the 15th floor which was a nice treat to start off each morning with a hearty breakfast and latte. The complimentary coffee machine on the 1st floor was super convenient for the extra pick-me-up before starting my days exploring. The hotel was within walking distance of numerous train lines that I typically only had to transfer once to get to my destinations including Nara & Kyoto. The hotel is also walking distance to Dotonbori, Namba, and Kuromon Market so finding a place to eat was the least of my worries. Lastly, Osaka - Kansai Airport (KIX) is only one train ride away so I didn't have to worry about carrying all my luggage to transfer to another train because it was a direct ride to and from the airport. Would definitely recommend to stay again...
