Satisfying Wagyu BBQ with High Privacy and Good Value

I recently visited Uma Yotsubashi for a Wagyu BBQ, and overall, it was a very satisfying experience. We ordered from the à la carte menu and did not try the all-you-can-eat option. The beef quality was quite good, though it didn’t fully meet my expectations. Some cuts were impressive, while others lacked much flavor. The seasoning options were limited—just table salt and 七味粉 (shichimi pepper)—which didn’t fully bring out the best in the beef. I would have preferred higher quality sea salt or rock salt, as it complements beef much better. The provided dipping sauce was also underwhelming and didn’t enhance the taste of the meat.

The restaurant features exclusive suites for each table, which offers a high degree of privacy—definitely a plus. The stove, however, wasn’t as powerful as I would have liked, though the ventilation was adequate. Some staff members speak Chinese, which is helpful for non-Japanese speakers.

We had one of the best meals here at Uma during our trip to Osaka. Easily accessible from the subway (Yotsubashi-line), we had no trouble finding it despite it being on the 2nd floor of a small building.

We had our meal in a private room, and it looks like they mainly offer a room per party. The staff were very friendly and helpful, you can order through a tablet or with a server. The qualities of the meats are top notch! All Wagyu. Side dishes were amazing too. We had a bibimbap, raw cow stomach etc.
